Run Club

Youth Program

Kaizen Run Club teaches students ages 5 and up, proper running techniques and basic running fundamentals.  Warm ups, stretches, drills and games are designed to help develop each student’s speed and endurance.

This eight (8) week program is designed to provide a fun, safe environment for students that will engage them in distance running. The program concludes with a 5k that is held locally in various schools and parks. Family and friends are welcomed and encouraged to join us for the 5k. 


Run Your First 5K

This is an entry level running class for ADULTS that has been designed for the individual who is currently not exercising and wants to get into shape!  Over the course of 12 weeks you will go from couch to 5K distance (3.1 miles).  Participants will learn the basics as you move consistently towards your goals.  The program consists of weekly email updates, a guided schedule, coached runs, as well as educational clinics.  Students who can only make 1 out of 2 weekly meetings can still participate as detailed assignments will be given for those who can not attend a given session.


Soccer - Youth

Coaches will teach dribbling, trapping, passing, kicking and defensive skills. Students will play games and use drills to have fun while learning one of the most popular sports in the world!  Our dedicated team of coaches will help develop each student to be the very best they can be.  Weekly lessons will be customized to meet the needs of the students.  Valuable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline will be taught all while having fun. 


Yoga For Kids

Yoga for children develops focus, flexibility, strength, and coordination through a variety of yoga poses, stories, songs, drawings and games.  These classes enhance energy while teaching children how to remain calm and centered.  Children learn basic yoga movements in a fun, relaxed setting, which always promotes doing their personal best in a non-competitive environment.  Other benefits of yoga include increased patience, posture, confidence, and self-esteem.  Poses are learned individually, with partners, and in groups. 


Sports Extravaganza - Youth

Sports Extravaganza is one of the excellent programs offered with Kaizen Athletics!! Students have the opportunity to explore different sports and fitness interests each week. Our dedicated team of coaches will help develop each student to be the very best they can be. Valuable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline will be taught, all while having fun!! Students are taught the basic fundamentals of several, different sports and fitness activities. Soccer, basketball, flag football, kickball and YOGA and are just some of the other exciting sports and fitness programs that Kaizen Athletics offers.
